About Enterprise 5G Summit

The rollout of Enterprise 5G (E5G) solutions has not been as fast as anticipated. The pandemic has undoubtedly impacted its uptake, however, other factors including applicable use cases and investment in 4G LTE solutions have also played a part. Nevertheless, the popularity of E5G is still there. Offering a variety of advantages over its predecessor solutions, Communication Service Providers (CSPs) are in a unique position to create a before and after with their enterprise offering. Join this year’s Enterprise 5G Summit to understand how E5G is set to revolutionize the enterprise.

The Rollout of Enterprise 5G Networks - Hype Vs Reality

E5G networks can offer many advantages to the enterprise – particularly those operating in a mission-critical environment. Additionally, E5G investment is increasing, with a report conducted by GlobalNewswire predicting that the global market will be worth more than $35 billion by 2029. Nevertheless, with the vast majority of enterprise deployments using 4G LTE, it appears the E5G market is still largely in a similar position as it was in 2021 and 2022 – trials and proof-of-concept. Could it be the case that the majority of enterprises do not need a 5G network, if so, what will it take for them to make the upgrade? Why is adoption higher in other geographies such as Asia? What are the most applicable use cases for E5G and how is 5G Advanced likely to impact enterprise services? Join this session as we explore the key topics impacting the E5G market and as we discuss whether the hype is aligned with the reality.

From Deployment to Revenue. How to Get the Most Out of Your 5G Investments Through Geospatial.

Telecommunications companies have invested billions of dollars deploying broadband services in the past couple of years, be it on expanding their landline coverage but more importantly in deploying extensive 5G networks that support High Speed Fixed Wireless Access. With these massive financial commitments, organizations are now faced with the challenge of transforming these investments into revenue streams in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible, which is key for most. Enhancing the qualification approach to minimize errors in the process and maximize automation is key to control costs. As the telecommunications landscape continues to evolve, it becomes increasingly evident that the interplay between 5G deployment and geospatial data is a critical factor in achieving the optimal balance between investment and revenue generation. In this webinar, you will learn:

  • How geospatial data is the key for better qualification and automation.
  • Where can geospatial solutions help automate the processes and reduce human errors?
  • Real-World customers success stories of boosting the bottom line with Geospatial insights.

Bringing E5G to the Edge – Opportunities, Use Cases & Challenges

Edge computing is a hot topic across many industries. It simply refers to the distribution of computing and data storage closer to the source of data. There is an emerging business case for operators to begin combining their E5G offering with edge computing as it could deliver innovative and holistic solutions to their enterprise customer. Some areas include, ultra-low-latency & reliability, mobility & scalability. A recent survey conducted by STL Partners reported that 40% of technology decision-makers saw E5G combined with edge essential for improving latency and reliability, with key verticals such as health care and retail likely to see the most benefits. In order to fully realize the benefits of combined E5G and Edge, CSPs must first address key questions. What are the key enterprises likely to benefit from this solution? Who are the edge solutions providers to partner with? How can I reskill the sales team to sell the value of this solution?

Standalone (SA) Enterprise 5G - The New Era of Enterprise Solutions

The Enterprise customer will be the largest revenue source for 5G - a notion that has for long been unchallenged. However, some of the use cases which will be facilitated by E5G, including robotics, connected vehicles and remote operations, will simply not be possible without 5G Standalone (SA) core. Without SA 5G, E5G solutions are largely the same as 4G LTE. Despite such importance for the Enterprise, a report featured in IoT Times predicts that only 10% of 5G operators have deployed a 5G SA core - as such, what is holding it back? It could be the operators do not want to develop this architecture until the apps are there to run it, or perhaps the logistics still need to be figured out. Nevertheless, with such importance needed for the Enterprise, how can we expect SA E5G to change the industry of Enterprise connectivity? How fundamental is it and when can we expect it to be a reality?
